If the world knows so much about the Life of a "Pi", or the inventor of what we so conviniently use today as "Calendar" or the way we conviniently count the Hrs in a Day or the value and relation of Sin & Cosine and Trignometric Table and so many other mathematical fundamentals such as quadratics equations, plane theories and what not.... then lets know a little bit more about the inventor of all the mentioned above as well. Meet Shri Aryabhat (IAST: Āryabhaṭa, Sanskrit: आर्यभटः) (476–550 CE). He was the first in the line of great mathematician-astronomers from the classical age of Indian mathematics and Indian astronomy. His most famous works are the Āryabhaṭīya (499 CE, when he was 23 years old) and the Arya-siddhanta.
